“WHAT WOULD YOU DO FOR LOVE?” Asks aunty Grace
Love is in the air. I cannot believe how fast time flies and that it’s been four years since I started this blog-Askauntygrace!
Four years in which so much has happened, some good and some bad but mostly good.
Four years in which a doctor told me in Lagos,
sorry madam, there’s nothing we can do for you!
But here I am, four years later, writing about love, the healing power of love !
In the last four years ,I’d been near death’s door, my son had married and made me a proud grandma, and also in those four years , my mother had turned 90 !
In those past four years ,I have learnt to see my glass mostly half full rather than half empty and in giving thanks in all situations and in counting my blessings , I find that there’s a lot to love about my life inspite of the problems that besiege us daily!
So I ask you, what would you do for love?
I just got off from watching an old movie at the ipic theater in Bethesda. The movie was Titanic, It was as captivating as it was the first time I saw it many years ago.
If your were in a ship that was sinking, and you only had one life jacket between you, would you give it up for your boyfriend or girlfriend; for your husband or your wife? Well, would you?( I won’t ask what parents would do for their children because I think I know the answer to that!)
What would you do for the one you love? What lengths would you go to satisfy the one you love?
Tell me what gift you gave your partner for valentine? Was is an expensive gift or a thoughtful gift or both?
Please send your comments to me in the comments section at the end of this post.
Happy valentine’s day!
